Tearduct Probe - Please pray
Hello All,
I am asking all my bloggy friend to join me in prayer as Naomi goes into Children's Hospital tomorrow. She has a clogged tear duct that needs to be fixed. Her right eye is often filled with tears that overflow down her cheek, and she is prone to eye infections because it can't drain properly. For most children the clog usually clears up on it's own by the time they are 18 months old. If not, like in Naomi's case, they need to have surgery to open it up.
So, tomorrow morning we are heading into Children's to have the surgery done. It is only a day surgery and we should be home by tomorrow afternoon. We have to arrive at the hospital one and a half hours early to meet with the anesthesiologist and do all the pre-op stuff. The doctor said that the procedure will take about 10 mins, with Naomi being under general anesthesia for around 20 mins. Then she will go into recovery for about another hour or so. Then we can go home.
Please pray with us that everything will go well, including guidance for the doctors hands, peace for us and for Naomi. We trust that God has this situation in His hands and that all will happen according to his will. We are choosing to trust the One who loves Naomi more than we do.

"To laugh often and much, to win
the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false
friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, or a garden patch... to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This
is to have succeeded!" - Emerson

I'm glad everything went well for you!
I had that done as a kid too. The good thing is that she'll never remember it, I sure don't! Hope all goes well...
