A Week at Home

We were so lucky to have Ron home this past week. I feel so spoiled having him around to help with Naomi during the day. We had the oppurtunity to work on the the back yard and to repaint our kitchen cabinets.
However, it was not all work. We also had a chance to spend some time together having fun. On Friday afternoon we headed out to Harrison. What a great day.

A Moment of Reflection

My deepest condolences to the Toews family. My prayer is that God will comfort them with His peace that passes understanding. I cannot imagine what Rosanna must be going through having just lost her husband. Although I did not know Nate, I read about him on Jamie and Rosannas blogs. All that I read about him convinced me that he was a wonderful man. I know that he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. I hope that if you read this you will take a momment to pray for those who are grieving......

Cute Birthday Poem

Here is the poem Ron wrote me for my birthday. So sweet!
A quarter century you've reached today, that makes you 25 my wife, but do not worry of getting older, it's only a quarter of your life. This has been a year of change. Our home has a new face, because 4 months ago, thanks be to God, we welcomed our sweet Naomi Grace. Now your a daughters mother, a friend, a lover, a grad of CBC, to me you'll always be my girl, forever yours I will be. I love you more than words can say, yet still I write this poem. Your smile, your touch, your love, tells me I'm safe. I'm found, I'm home.
Thanks sweetheart!

Ontario Pictures

Here are a sample of some of the pictures that we took in Ontario! We had a wonderful time. I was so amazed at how well Naomi did on the plane. What a great little traveller!

"To laugh often and much, to win
the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false
friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, or a garden patch... to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This
is to have succeeded!" - Emerson
